Halloween Candy Wrapper Picture Frame Craft

Halloween is over, but the candy remains for days after. And the remains of the remains means lots of candy wrappers. Use this candy wrapper frame as an excuse to eat a few more pieces of candy while creating a fun memento. What could be sweeter than a picture of your cute little ghost, goblin, Elsa or Olaf in a candy frame?

Decoupage is a simple crafting method that uses glue and pieces of paper to create unique projects. If you can cut and glue, then you can decoupage. Even little ones can have fun making this fun candy wrapper  picture frame.  

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

For this project we used a plain wooden frame from the craft store but you can also repurpose a frame you already have or cut one out of cardboard. 

Materials:
Unfinished Wooden Picture Frame 
Decoupage Glue (Mod Podge)
Paint Brush
Scissors
Candy Wrappers

1.Cut open the wrappers so they can sit flat on the frame.

2. Apply a generous amount of decoupage glue to the frame and place wrappers onto the glue until the frame is covered.

3. Apply another layer of decoupage glue on the top to seal the frame and allow to dry.
