Marshmallow Craft for Kids & Lil' Architects
Marshmallows are always fun. They get our kids excited like nothing else. We've done a few marshmallow crafts before, like our Easy Flower Cupcakes and our Marshmallow Catapult. We took the idea of building with mini marshmallows and toothpicks and added a fun new element: competition! Kids of all ages will have fun as they try to build the highest tower, and they may even pick up a little bit of geometry on the way!

1. Set up a bowl or plate for each person. You'll want each setting to have some marshmallows and the same number of toothpicks. We used twenty each, but the more you use, the higher the towers can be.
2. Start building! Experiment with different shapes. Which work better, triangles or squares? If you want to add a time limit, you can.
3. When the time has run out, or everyone's out of toothpicks, see who has the tallest tower. We chose a most stable, a tallest, and a prettiest tower, so there was a reward for everyone. Our little builders got so excited we ended up with a whole marshmallow city!
Show us what you make. Share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag @mommypoppins so we can see your creations too!
