Easy Flower Cupcake Recipe for Kids
I'd seen these fancy flower cupcakes on Pinterest and just assumed they were some complicated concoction. Luckily the folks at Taste Buds Kitchen shared the secret of how easy they actually are — even a kid can make these gorgeous flower cupcakes. Perfect for Mother's Day, a baby shower, or just to celebrate spring with a fun-to-make treat.

Start with a frosted cupcake (flavor and color of your choice), marshmallows, colored sanding sugar and a pair of scissors.
1. Cut marshmallow in half on a diagonal (so that you have one pointed end on each piece).
2. Dip marshmallow, sticky side down into colored sanding sugar.
3. Place marshmallow "petals" onto frosted cupcake, start on the outside and work your way in.
