Big Holiday Giveaway: Win Free Tickets to Wintuk!
Robert Y. won the tickets to the They Might Be Giants Concert, but you still have the rest of today (Friday) to enter to win tickets to Sesame Street Live, The Flaming Idiots and Dear Edwina. But before you click over to enter those giveaways read on to find out how you could win one of two family four-packs to see Wintuk, the fabulous Cirque de Soleil Holiday show at Madison Square Garden.
OUR LATEST VIDEOS
Wintuk takes Canadian Cirque de Soleil's trademark acrobatics and stagecraft and injects it with a dose of Caillou to make a holiday show that no kid can resist. Yes, this is Cirque slightly dumbed down for the kids, but they LOVE it and even muted Cirque is better than most kid shows you're gonna see.
HIghlights of the show for me were the giant snow creatures, both monsters and birds which were elegant and incredible to watch, but my kids liked the whole thing. Of course, their favorite part for sure was the amazing snow storm at the end where tons of paper snowflakes come floating down over the whole audience. It will have you leaving the theater filled with the magic of the holidays. Going straight from there to another holiday activity like the holiday windows at Macy's would be great.
This show has one scary part with the snow monsters. I would recommend it for ages 4 and up.
We're giving away family four packs of tickets to see Wintuk at the WaMu theater at Madison Square Garden to TWO winners! By the way these are great seats, front and center. Each package is worth over $400.

About the Author
Founder of Mommy Poppins
A fourth-generation Brooklynite, Anna started Mommy Poppins in 2007 to help families find the best things to do with kids in NYC, with a particular emphasis on sharing activities that are free, affordable, and enriching. The site, used by millions of families, has grown to become the ultimate resource for parents in the major US cities, plus travel guides for 100s of destinations.
Anna is a believer in the magic of summer camps, traveling with kids, and that you can raise kids on a budget and still have a rich life full of amazing memories. Anna's first Mommy Poppins book, The Young Traveler's Journal and Activity Book, published in 2025 and co-written with her daughter, Amelia Eigerman, brings that ethos to life, in addition to this website.
