Make: Velcro Blocks Take Block Building in New Directions
Why limit yourself to building vertically with blocks when you can go any which way you imagine? This simple project gives your old blocks an upgrade and takes building in totally new directions—literally. Amaze your kids with this easy trick by adding Velcro tape to the edges of your blocks. It's a fun and inexpensive way to reinvent a childhood favorite.

1. Cut strips of Velcro tape to match the size and shape of your blocks.
2. Stick the Velcro tape onto the blocks, alternating the sides of Velcro.
3. Let the Velcro tape sit for a bit before playing to give the adhesive a chance to set.
