Spring is in the air and Houston is positively blooming with spring activities and events. Outdoor activities are the name of the game, and our Playgrounds & Parks Guide is sure to be your go-to resource for all the different places you can get active outdoors.

The mild temperatures also make it a great time to do a little family camping, and there are tons of campgrounds close to Houston that will allow you to get out of town without traveling far. New to camping? We recommend checking out our comprehensive guide to RV camping for all sorts of tips and tricks. If you're interested in traveling a little farther, we highly recommend Pedernales Falls State Park and Longhorn Cavern State Park. 

Because we never can be too confident what the weather will be like in Houston, heading to an indoor play space to seek refuge from inclement weather is always a fantastic idea. Classic places for kid-friendly fun like bowling alleys, indoor roller skating, and trampoline parks are always excellent choices when the weather is less than cooperative.
