Fun Valentines Day Activities in Connecticut (Hartford County)

Valentine’s Day is a special day to show your love for all the special people in your life.  There are many fun family events in the area to help celebrate this day together by jumping, crafting or best of all hugging and kissing.

Bounce U in Rocky Hill has a few great Valentine’s Day specials being offered. The sessions include music, games, a small snack, and play time on their giant inflatable toys. Admission is $10.95 per child with a buy one get one free special.

Little ladies & gentlemen are invited for a delightful tea party at the Imagine Nation Museum on February 10 from 11-12:30pm! Bring along your teddy bear and together everyone can enjoy dainty finger sandwiches and valentine cookies. You will also be able to create sweet treats and valentine fames.

Run your heart out Saturday February 11 at the Cupid’s Chase 5k in Hartford’s Bushnell Park. Walkers are welcome and it will be a fun family event with great prizes and giveaways.

Children in grades 1-3 can enjoy stories and make a craft for someone special at the Avon Library on Valentine’s Day from 4-5pm.

Michaels Crafts Stores has some fun events going on the weekend before Valentine’s Day. On Saturday February 11 from 10-noon your child can make a Valentine’s Memory book or on Sunday February 12 from 1-3pm they can make a Valentines gift for a loved one. Check your local store to see if they are participating.
