Looking for the best things to do in Houston this Thanksgiving weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.

First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving from the Mommy Poppins Houston team! We are so thankful for your readership and grateful we have the opportunity to serve you by finding all the coolest events and activities in Houston.

As always, the City of Houston is putting on its amazing Thanksgiving Day Parade. And if you have family in town, consider taking them to experience Cistern Illuminated, a custom, seasonal lighting experience in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. It’s an event that is uniquely Houston! Or, take the whole family to start their holiday shopping at Home for the Holidays at Old Town Spring
