Freebies & Free Stuff for Dad on Fathers Day in Los Angeles

Freebies & Things To Do with Dads on Father's Day in Southern California

There are lots of ways to celebrate Father's Day. You can do a special-occasion meal among sharks, presidents, or the night market masses. You can brunch among vintage airplanes or on board a vintage train. But most of these ideas require parting with a little of that tooth fairy cash. Wouldn't Dad prefer something more, well, free? Sure he would! Dad loves a freebie as much as the next guy. So check out these free offers just for dads this Fathers Day.

1. Fathers Day at Dodger Stadium
Dads get treated to a free Fathers Day money clip (to hold all that dough they're saving with these freebies) at the Dodgers game on Fathers Day, then they're all invited to take to the field for Fathers Day Catch after the Giants are soundly thrashed.

2. KOA Kids Camp Free
If Dad thinks hanging with the family in the great outdoors is the best thing ever, KOA has him covered with its Kids Camp Free event on Father's Day weekend, June 15-17. Participating locations include the Los Angeles/Pomona Fairplex, Ventura Ranch, and Acton/Los Angeles North KOAs.

3. Medieval Times
Make Dad feel like King of the Castle at Medieval Times in Buena Park for free, with one full-price adult admission (use code DAD18 at checkout). The offer runs June 4-17. For more royal treatment, upgrade to the Father's Day gift package for $25, and he'll receive a commemorative set of coasters, a photo of himself in a souvenir frame, and a 25-ounce souvenir stein with his choice of beer or soda.

4. The GRAMMY Museum
Your big bad voodoo daddy (OK, all dads) gets free admission on Father's Day.

5. The Zimmer Children's Museum
If Dad just wants to see his kids happy, he can do that without spending a cent by bringing the whole family to the Zimmer for free on Father's Day.

6. Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance
You may not be able to buy Dad a vintage Alfa Romeo, but it's free to look. Beverly Hills hosts this world-renowned, free event every year on Father's Day.

7. Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse
At both locations (downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills), dads dining on Fathers Day get a return engagement, with a complimentary dining card for their next visit. Restrictions apply.

8. Ruth's Chris
Is it too much of a cliche to say Dad probably loves steak? If your dad is of a steak-loving variety, bring him to enjoy the best at Ruth's Chris, and call the free $25 return trip gift card his Fathers Day present. This offer is good all Fathers Day weekend.

The fro-yo is free for Daddio on Fathers Day, at all participating TCBY locations.
