Customize Your Own Summer Bingo: Blank Template
Click here to download your free, printable Mommy Poppins blank and customizable Summer Bingo Card.
You can customize this blank template to either match things you want your kids to accomplish over the summer (read a summer reading book, clean their rooms, write a letter to Grandma) or filled with specific things to do on your own summer bucket list for your city!
You can also have multiple themed cards going; one summer my kids made book bingo cards and movie bingo cards. Each square had a theme (like comedy, documentary, poems, or something like that!) and the kids took turns picking themes each week. When we completed a row, we went out for ice cream or pizza.
How to Play Summer Bingo with Kids
It’s a little different from regular bingo! Every time you fulfill an activity, you can check it off. Once you hit BINGO, you don’t stop playing—you can keep going and fill up the whole sheet.
And, there can be treats along the way when you get a BINGO, whether it’s across, down, or diagonal. Your family can decide what a treat might be: Maybe it’s that they get to pick the next activity. Or it could be something little, like going for an ice cream cone or picking a movie to watch that night.
When you get the whole card filled, you can come up with a slightly bigger treat. Or not! Because everything on this list is loads of fun, and in this case, the reward really is going on the journey.
