Fairytale Island quickly became a Brooklyn favorite after it opened in October 2017, with a ball pit, a climbing wall, swings, slides, a trampoline, and crawl spaces galore. A non-private party with food and cupcakes starts at $385, and a private party with food, cupcakes, ice cream, and goodie bags starts at $785. Face-painting is available for an extra fee.
Dogs are part of the party at Frolic!

If your kid has been begging for a dog, this party place may just be the solution. Kids and their dolls will be pampered at an American Girl Place birthday party.
American Girl Place – Midtown
The newly opened American Girl Place in Rockefeller Center takes the place of the previous store on Fifth Avenue. Birthday parties here are all-inclusive affairs, and there are many price packages available, from $39 per child guest to $245, if you’re looking for a VIP experience.

Party packages at this new music-centered classes spot start at $575 and include art time, music time, climbing time, balloons, and party assistants.
A chocolate birthday party fantasy come true!
Choco-Story New York – Soho
This indulgent new chocolate museum can get pricey (think: $1,500) if you want a private space for a party. But a much more affordable option is to schedule a kid class, like cookie decorating (kids 7 and younger) or chocolate-making (for kids 8 and older). Prices start at $45 per person and include admission to the chocolate museum and a take-home goodie bag.
Playday – Long Island City, Queens
This drop-in art and creativity center offers parties for kids 2 and older, with full use of the space for two hours. Parties include an hour-long art experience that you can customize, such as clay sculptures, masks, finger painting, collage, weaving, printmaking, and more. Then, kids get pizza and cake, followed by 30 minutes of free play. Parties start at $550.
