Best Things To Do in Philadelphia in November with Kids

November brings plenty of things to do, as Philadelphia gears up for holidays from Veterans Day to Thanksgiving and full steam ahead to Christmas. Don’t miss our favorite kid-friendly events and activities in Philadelphia this month.

Philly families can honor the brave men and women who've served our country by visiting the Museum of the American Revolution during its special Veterans Day programming. Before you stuff yourself with turkey and all the trimmings, head to the 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade to mark the start of the holiday season, or watch the live telecast. Hanukkah arrives at the end of the month, and families can join Grover, Baby Bear, and the rest of the Sesame Street gang at Sesame Place for its Hanukkah Celebration. And to really get your glow on for the holiday season, check out millions of glittering bulbs at LumiNature at The Philadelphia Zoo and the all-new Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
