Things To Do in Connecticut this Weekend & Beyond: Owl Moon, Seal Cruise, Sunday Crafts
We are halfway through January and believe it or not, we have added a precious 23 minutes of sunlight to our day since the first of the month. With more and more activities being held outdoors, those extra moments of daylight are certainly worth celebrating. This week, you can fend off of the winter blues on an Owl Moon Hike in New Canaan, enjoy some s'mores in Stamford, or "chill out" on a Coldest Days Family Hike in Canton.
For virtual activities to round out your weekend, check out our Poppins@Home workshops, including a Minecraft Online series, an early childhood music and movement class with Hopalong Andrew, DMF Youth mini lessons to get kids up and moving, and a Snapology Scientists Virtual Series. Our Connecticut Winter Fun Guide will give you ideas of where to book a ski lesson, glide down the slopes at a snow tubing park, or explore parks, farms, and more. Just remember to bring your mask and practice social distancing. As always, keep tabs on our Connecticut events calendar for daily updates on reopenings at favorite spots, and more local and virtual opportunities for family fun.
