Dance for World Community—Cambridge
What a wonderful way to celebrate dance and making a difference. The Dance for World Community Festival showcases dance as a powerful force in bringing people together to work and celebrate for a better world, connecting people to the important work being accomplished by social service agencies, environmental organizations, and social justice activists. There are free performances and dance classes galore, plus a dance party to cap off the day.
Summer Solstice: Night at the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture—Harvard Plaza, Cambridge
Celebrate the summer with free evening admission to all four of the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, including the Harvard Museum of Natural History (HMNH). Join the festivities at Harvard Plaza, enjoy live music, and visit the roof of the Science Center for solar telescope viewing. Be sure to check out the secret garden behind the HMNH, too.
Free Fun Fridays - Statewide
Starting at the end of June, the Highland Street Foundation gives us the opportunity to visit cultural attractions in Massachusetts for free each Friday, from the end of June through August.The Free Fun Fridays are truly a gift, and offer the chance to visit varied attractions, from art museums to historical villages.
