Minion Land: Rides & Attractions

The new Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast is an interactive adventure where guests travel along a moving walkway to blast their way to “supervillian stardom” using an “E-Liminator X” blaster. This is also the first Universal Orlando attraction to feature Connected Gameplay, which can be accessed through the Universal Orlando Resort app. This feature allows guests to create their own profile, sync their blasters, track their scores, and opt into special missions. There are no height requirements for this attraction, which means even toddlers can engage in the villainous pursuit! The ride exits into the Evil Stuff retail shop, where guests can purchase a blaster of their own, as well as other merchandise.

Minion Land also features the highly popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem simulator ride that turns guests into Minions! This ride is located directly across the street from Villain-Con Minion Blast.

Minion Land: Dining

Minion Land promises a variety of yummy offerings! The new Minion Café is an immersive restaurant with three themed indoor dining areas as well as an covered patio. Guests can enjoy nearly 20 dishes inspired by the films, such as Kevin's Chopa Chopa Salad, Mel's Meatball Mountain, Lucy's Top Secret Salmon, and Agnes' Honeymoon Soup (which is topped with an adorable tomato gummy bear). Kids (aka “Mini Minions”) can choose from Freedonia Festival of Mac & Cheese, Mini Boss' Mega Melt, Shrunken Moonballs with Flying Sauce, or Mr. Gru's PB & Jelly, all served with a mini banana.

For dessert, guests can’t miss the Bake My Day whimsical pink bakery and retail shop topped with a giant pink cupcake. Bake My Day offers sweet treats, including cupcakes, macarons, cakesicles, and more. To cool off on a hot day, visit Freeze Ray Pops next door with frozen treats in fun flavors like Gru Nutella and Minion Blue Banana. Guests can pop on over to Pop-A-Nana, a popcorn stand offering special banana-flavored popcorn and keepsake popcorn buckets.
