Mother's Day at the New York Botanical Garden is abloom with activities, music, crafts, and face painting—not to mention walking tours packed with colors and gorgeous spring scents.
Daffodil Hill is family central, with garden party lawn games, card-making for Mom, and face painting for kids.
Rhythm & Family Memories
12 – 5pm
The Bronx-based DJ collective Uptown Vinyl Supreme brings a groovy atmosphere to the Hill with live vinyl spinning celebrating the analog roots of music, party, and dance culture. Create your own collage using archival images of the crabapples, daffodils, and lilacs at NYBG with Bronx Community Collage in celebration of World Collage Day.
Floral Face Painting At the Clay Family Picnic Pavilion
1–4pm
Get your face painted with a whimsical design in the spirit of spring. Melissa and her team of amazing artists will transform visitors into tigers, butterflies, flowers…or wherever your imagination takes you.
Lawn Games
