Puppet Making Workshop at the Old Stone House

The Puppeteers Cooperative is returning to The Old Stone House with its annual puppet protest comedia, The Right of Spring, focusing this year on the plight and adventures of the insect world. Artist/puppeteer Theresa Linnihan leads a workshop to paint bee and ladybug wearable hats and then and rehearse with them in preparation for the parade and pageant. 

SCHEDULE

1pm - 2pm PUPPET BUILDING TIME!
Design and paint your wearable-buggy critters.

2pm - 3pm Rehearse with your puppet!
March around the park. Theresa will teach the basics of stage presence and how to breathe life into your puppet.

Anyone who builds and performs with a puppet owns that puppet!

Reserve a spot online in advance. 

The Right of Spring Parade is Sunday, June 1st at 4pm. Please plan to come back to share your creations at the pageant!
