We herald in this first weekend of March with a dose of (almost) springtime activities. From St. Patrick's Day fun to nature hikes, the end of winter is in sight! If you're looking to get outside, there are several options for enjoying nature. But if you'd rather, stay in and catch a show, theatre is alive and well in the DC area with classic favorites like Robin Hood and Huckleberry Finn. For the American Girl doll fans in your life, you're not going to want to miss American Girl Live when it hits the stage at The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda on Sunday, March 3.

And if you haven't gotten your fill of winter just yet, no worries. There's still time to get in some outdoor ice skating before the rinks close for the season.

Whatever you choose, we hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family. Need more ideas? Be sure and check out our events calendar.
