Holiday Craft Fairs in New Jersey

Fairs Festivals Crafts Christmas NJ 2015

I just love holiday craft fairs. I’m not a fan of malls and big crowds, so to me, a holiday fair is the perfect place to find adorable, hand-made gifts for everyone in the family. Not to mention, your purchases help support local artists, so it's a win-win. There’s a certain kind of charm to a holiday craft fair, and I hope you stop by some of these wonderful New Jersey fairs this holiday season.

Christkindlmarkt is an old fashioned Christmas featuring holiday crafts and gifts under huge heated tents. There will be refreshments, entertainment, vendors, children's rides, decoy carvers and more. The one in Tuckerton will be held December 4th, 5th and 6th, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum. For more info, call 609-296-8868.

The Gingerbread Wonderland & Craft Show will take place at Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Stroll around and marvel at the amazing displays featuring hundreds of edible structures, created by area children and adults. The craft show (weekends only) offers a wide variety of handmade goods by local artists. This wonderful holiday tradition is a delight for all ages.

Wanaque Elementary School is hosting its 10th annual Holiday Bazaar on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5th. There will be over 30 local vendors and artisans offering a diverse selection of items. It's a great opportunity to do all your holiday shopping in one location! Breakfast & lunch will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

At the 4-H Festival of Trees, Somerset County, Ted Blum 4-H Center in Bridgewater, there will be events and gifts for everyone on your holiday list. Santa will be there both days to hear wishes and have pictures taken. Bring your camera. No admission, no charge for pictures with Santa. Come see Homespun and upscale decorated holiday trees. Many crafted items for sale. Beat the crowds at the Mall. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 14.
