Discovery Pack, 12–3 pm:
Prospect Park Alliance invites you to get inspired by nature with our Discovery Packs, ready-to-go kits filled with nature activities for families.

Blooming Naturalist 1–2 pm:
So you think you are a naturalist? Find out at the Audubon Center by learning how to identify birds and use binoculars and field guides. Participants can even create their own tube of lip balm and an Official Blooming Naturalist button.

Animal Encounter, 3–4 pm:
Join Alliance naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection and assist in an actual feeding.

Freedom Songs and Stories with Tammy Hall
Lefferts Historic House, 2 pm + 3 pm, Registration Required
Join Lefferts Historic House this Martin Luther King Jr. Day for Freedom Songs and Stories with Tammy Hall. A masterful storyteller, Tammy Hall weaves together diverse tales from around the world to create a rich experience for all. Tammy Hall will be leading two sessions, beginning at 2 and 3 pm. Please note: A limited number of tickets are available for The Freedom Songs and Stories with Tammy Hall event at Lefferts Historic House. Please pre-register to guarantee admission.
