The Long Island Children's Museum is offering a brand-new Early Childhood Workshop. Each week in this engaging workshop, participants are introduced to early literacy concepts through hands-on materials, art making, and inspiration from picture books. 

Build critical thinking skills, expand vocabulary, and support letter and number recognition as you play, create, and explore. Themes change weekly. 

 

  • December 4 – DIY Wrapping Paper: Repurpose bubble wrap to print on your own unique wrapping paper. 
  • December 11 – Seashell Ornaments: Add a decorative touch to a natural seashell to display in your home. † 
  • December 18 – Snowball Painting: Use pom-poms and paint to create a scenic winter wonderland.
