GeGet ready to Countdown to 12! -“O-FISH-ally 2026!" at the Long Island Children's Museum and celebrate the New Year in New York’s famous Times Square style.

This year’s event will be making an intergalactic leap with activities starting at 11am, the addition of a third ball drop for visitors to choose from (noon, 2 and 4 pm).

• Choose your countdown ball drop and join the fun! Every guest gets a mini confetti popper to add to the excitement as we ring in the New Year.
• Get ready to shine like a sea star on the dance floor with our live DJ. It’s the perfect way to groove into the new year!
• Reel in the fun for the new year by designing your own necklace featuring your catch of the day.
• Shake things up in 2026 with an awesome octopus noisemaker.
• Plus, more fun crafts and activities inspired by our new permanent exhibit, Saltwater Stories: We Need the Sea & the Sea Needs Me.

Event price: $20/ per person (includes admission, all activities and personal confetti popper for every family member).
