Halloween 2021 is creeping up on us, bringing with it chills and thrills, bags full of sweets, and loads of in-person Halloween events—including several Boos at Zoos, Halloween haunts, and harvest festivals. We've got Brick-or-Treat at Legoland, Oogie Boogie at Disneyland, Carved at Descanso, and loads of Halloween movie screenings. Many Halloween events are still being planned, so be sure to check this roundup and our calendar of events often, as we will be adding more Halloween events as soon as they're announced.

We also know that some kids like the spooks and scares while other kids prefer gentler Halloween activities, so on our guide to Halloween Fun, you'll find our picks for Not-So-Scary Events for Preschoolers as well as Scary Halloween Haunts for Big Kids—plus pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and much more.
