December brings plenty of things to do in Los Angeles as Hanukkah is already happening as the month begins and then we are full steam ahead to Christmas and New Year's Eve. Don’t miss our favorite kid-friendly events and activities in Los Angeles this month.

You must have been very good this year: look at all the fun things to do you're getting! Boat parades and holiday sing-alongs and nostalgic movies ... our calendar hasn't been this full in quite some time! Tops on our list of fun we can't wait to unwrap: The Skirball's annual Hanukkah Festival, Bob Baker's Nutcracker, Disney on Ice: Dream Big, the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade (because fireworks!), and LA County's Annual Holiday Celebration. To top it all off, we'll be ringing in the New Year—or Noon Year—depending on our bedtime.

For more fun things to do check out our Favorite Free Holiday Events or our complete Holiday and Christmas Activities Guide for LA Families—and don't miss our favorite Stocking Stuffers Under $10 as you're getting ready to play Santa!
