Sea Scare is back! The annual Halloween Sea Scare transforms the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium into an underwater world of chills, thrills, and gills.

This year, there have been reports of unexplained mutations among local marine life. Scientists suspect something coming from the deep, but the situation is changing too quickly to draw any firm conclusions.

Guests can help unravel the mystery by finding clues hidden in locations throughout the aquarium including:

• the dark corners of Skull Alley
• the Mad Scientist’s Lab
• the Trick or Treat Trail
• the haunted house 

The clues lead lucky guests to the Secret Glow Zone  -- hopefully before algae mutations completely take over the aquarium!

Other hauntingly good fun includes carnival games with prizes, arts and crafts tables, and a Trunk or Treat zone.

Note:  this aquarium can be a little spooky at night even before anyone starts decorating for Halloween. With its ghoul on, anything can happen!
