The swallows aren't the only thing that come back to Capistrano every year:  the dazzling light display Capistrano Lights returns in 2023.

Orange County's only Mission is lit for the holidays, inviting families to experience the Mission by day and at night with a nightly tree lighting and candlelit music program.

Capistrano Lights admission includes:

  • Daytime admission to the Mission (10am -7pm)
  • Capistrano Lights Audio Tour
  • Christmas tree lighting with music (5pm)
  • Performances by Dickens-era carolers  (3:30pm - 6:30pm)
  • Selfies with Santa (3:30pm - 6:30pm)
