Camp Evergreen
April Vacation Camp

Camp Evergreen's school vacation camps are designed to keep children active and outdoors year round. During spring vacation week, kids get a preview of Evergreen's summer camp experience with campfire songs, skits, arts & crafts, sports, and exploring nature. The fish pond is stocked in April for campers to have the thrill of catching a fish.

Puddlestompers Nature Exploration
April Vacation Week Program

Through hands-on exploration, active movement and play, crafts, stories, and songs, young children will learn about the natural world and the wonders of spring during this drop-off program. The kids will spend most of their time outdoors exploring the trails, finding worms, building nests, and following animal tracks, but the fun can be brought indoors when there are April showers. If your child enjoys Puddlestompers, you may want to take a look at the summer camp offerings for even more outdoor fun. 

Where: Nahanton Park Nature Center in Newton or Warren Recreation Center in Wellesley

Mass Audubon – Boston Nature Center - NOT AVAILABLE FOR 2016
April Vacation

For four full days during Mass Audubon’s April Vacation program at the Boston Nature Center in Mattapan, your child will spend lots of time outdoors learning about migrating wildlife. Camp kids will observe wildlife, plant seeds in the garden, study life found in ponds and streams, and have fun while learning all about spring in the city.

Kid's Choice April Vacation Program

Kids are engaged in their choice of activities, from sports and swimming to arts, dance, cooking and rock climbing. A nature scavenger hunt and a field trip to see Shrek: The Musical at the Wheelock Family Theatre are part of the week's events.The Kid's Choice April Vacation Program is a good preview of JCC's summer camp offerings, and you can choose specific days or the whole week (Tuesday - Friday).

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts
April Vacation Camp – Cedar Hill

Girls get a taste of summer camp during April Vacation Week at the 75-acre Camp Cedar Hill in Waltham.  Sign up for one day, or the whole week (Tuesday through Friday). Each day revolves around a theme that encourages girls to get to know themselves and their fellow campers through outdoor exploration, games and arts & crafts. There is a bus to take the kids to camp from many locations in and around Boston. A teen camp for girls in grades 6-10 is new this year. 

Where: Camp Cedar Hill, 265 Beaver St, Waltham, MA
When: Tuesday - Friday, April 21-24, 9 am - 4 pm (bus pick-up is before 9 am and drop-off is after 4 pm)
Ages: Grades K-8 and Grades 6-10 (Teen Adventures) 
Cost: $45 per day; $60 per day for Teen Adventures
