Little daredevils don't have to go far to experience extreme sports. We've rounded up 11 destinations for extreme sports in Westchester and the Hudson Valley where families can experience a thrilling adventure ranging from skydiving to ropes courses, go-kart racing, ax-throwing, and more.

1. iFly Indoor Skydiving – Yonkers

This indoor skydiving chain is popular nationwide for a reason. Its Ridge Hill location gives locals the sensation of flying without the risk of jumping out of an airplane. High-octane wind tunnels send bodies airborne, with hearts racing and smiles soaring.

2. Spins Hudson – Peekskill

Not only is Spins Hudson packed with high-octane fun, but it's also got a killer view of the Hudson River. Take your climbing outdoors at Boundless Adventures. This outdoor zipline and aerial adventure park offers a variety of obstacles catering to varying skill levels. 5. Sky Zone Trampoline Park – Mount Kisco

7. Liberty Paintball – Patterson

9. The Gravity Vault – Poughkeepsie

Climb to new heights at The Gravity Vault, where you can drop in for a day or enroll in kids' and adult classes. There is more than 13,000-square-feet of climbing space, with walls soaring up to 40 feet high. Try your hand at both bouldering or rock climbing.

10. RPM Raceway – Poughkeepsie

Located in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall, this location of the popular RPM chain offers a 1/4-mile track full of hair-raising, hairpin turns. When you're done battling your buddies on track, get behind the wheel of the racing simulator and test your skills on some of the world's most famous tracks.

11. Barton Orchards Tree Top Adventures – Poughquag

New to the popular Barton Orchards, you can now see the farm in a whole new way by booking a weekends-only Tree Top Adventure.
