Things are heating up here in the Bayou City, which can only mean one thing: bring us all things water! From visiting one of the city's many free swimming pools to backyard water games, afternoon splash pad adventures, and long summer days spent at the water park, we plan to spend this weekend in Houston trying to stay cool!

Check out Fairy Day at The Woodlands Children's Museum, Hands on History at George Ranch Historical Park, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Levy Park for more Houston weekend events. We love that these activities include a little bit of education and a lot of fun. You might also visit our Indoor Fun Guide to hide out in a fully air-conditioned play space.
