Nothing says summer like a round of mini-golf and honing your putt-putt game is even better when it comes cost-free—so we're pretty excited about the Google Mini Golf pop-up now open in NYC's West Village.

Open to the public from Wednesday, May 30-Monday, June 4, the free experience is admittedly a promo for the popular Google Home products, from the Google Home Mini to the Google Home Max. It comes on the heels of other Google-branded pop-ups, like last summer's Donut Shop or the winter's Holiday Pop-up.

The pop-up offers a pair of three-hole "courses," plus one shared final hole all guests play. In addition to a traditional putter, players also use the voice-activated Google products to navigate the course, which organizers say is a 15-20 minute experience.

Each hole on the course is modeled after a room of your home and aims to teach you how the Google products can simplify everyday tasks. You might putt your way through a children's bedroom and learn that you can broadcast simple announcements like asking Google to let your family know its dinnertime by annoucing it to all your interconnected Google speakers, or greet Google with a "good morning," and await a personalized rundown of the days weather and news. Other holes in the course demonstrate how the Google products can help you in the kitchen, by reading you a step-by-step recipe and keeping a timer so your cookies don't burn, to turning on connected appliances like the TV, surveillance cameras, and a home fan.

"Hey Google turn on the fan"-play a free round of mini-golf while learning about Google products.

Once you've completed the course, you'll enjoy a dance party with the Google Max, while you take your chance at winning a prize of your own to take home. Golfers drop their balls onto a pin-board like ball return. Balls are sorted into one of three bins—land yours in the small, middle section and you'll take home a Google Home Mini! One lucky winner daily nabs a Max. Land in the outside bins and you'll still walk away with small Google-themed goodie. Other fun includes an on-site photo booth.

The Google Mini Golf pop-up is located at 350 6th Avenue in the West Village. Opening day hours are from noon-8pm and hours for the remaining days are 10am-8pm. All visits are first-come, first-serve. Visits to Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta are also on the horizon once the pop-up closes up shop in New York.
