Family Beach WalkHampton Bays. Due to the effects of the tides through the Shinnecock Inlet, the Hampton Bays’ beaches seem to have a higher concentration of shells on both the bay and ocean sides. Join Crystal on a family-friendly walk to identify the different mussels, clams, arks, and snail shells that wash ashore, including the occasional animal bone, egg case, or unusual seaweed. Bring binoculars.
