Amadeus Conservatory of Music – Chappaqua
The Baby & Me Rhyme Time class for little ones between the ages of 6-16 months introduces music and rhythm through a series of nursery rhymes set to music, both vocal and instrumental.
Applause – Mamaroneck
Applause introduces babies and toddlers to music through the magic of Broadway and good old rock ‘n’ roll. Each class follows a curriculum specific to its age group, concentrating on skills that kids should be learning at that time. Classes are separated by age groups: 4-12 months, 1-2 years and 18-36 months.
Music brings joy to multiple generations in the Babies & Grands class, which take place in senior care centers.
Babies & Grands Music – Hastings-on-Hudson and Dobbs Ferry
Babies & Grands is a parent-and-child music class with an intergenerational twist: Geared toward children ages 6 months to 6 years, the class takes place in nursing homes in Hastings-on-Hudson and Dobbs Ferry. It teaches the fundamentals of music and movement to kids by using instruments, recorded music, and traditional music, while allowing parents—and senior residents—to get in on the fun.
Bach to Rock Music School – Mamaroneck
The weekly rock-and-roll class is a high-energy and stimulating music and movement gathering for toddlers and caregivers. Each class contains a variety of music and movement-based activities, themes, and musical selections.
Belle School of Music – Scarsdale, White Plains, Yonkers
The KinderMusic program at the Belle School of Music incorporates the center’s patented approach to musical education. Kids ages 18 months to 3 years can enjoy all types of music—from singing and instrument playing to movement and keyboard geography—in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Concordia Conservatory – Bronxville
It's literally never too early to start fostering music appreciation at Concordia Conservatory. Its Music Yogis class, for newborns to age 3 and a parent/caregiver, incorporates yoga, music, books, dance, imaginary play, and more for a well-rounded introduction to music and movement.
Croton Academy of Arts – Croton-on-Hudson
These parent-and-child classes incorporate the Music Together philosophy and curriculum. Kids of mixed ages (newborn to 5 years old) participate at his or her own level in singing, moving, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments.

Groove offers Music for Aardvarks classes to kids ages 6 months to 4 years.
Groove – Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Scarsdale
New for fall 2018, Groove is collaborating with other family-friendly spots to offer its Music for Aardvarks classes at more locations. At Groove, your infant or toddler can have a blast with mini shakers and drums in the Baby Rock class; and kids ages 6 months to 4 years can get down in a class that incorporates singing, dancing, musical storytelling, instrumental jam sessions, and musical puppet play. Groove also offers Family JAM sessions (for kids up to age 6 and their families) on weekends, holidays, and school vacation weeks.
Gymboree – Scarsdale
Gymboree offers four music classes starting at 6 months and running up through 5 years old. These weekly programs focus on developing a love of music and enhancing the power of rhythm and beat through song, dance, movement games, and instruments.
Hoff–Barthelson Music School – Scarsdale
Instructors at HBMS use Dalcroze Eurhythmics as its basis for teaching young children (4 months and up) music and movement.
JCC of Mid-Westchester – Scarsdale
Join your baby or preschooler (6-36 months) for a class with Marc the Music Man at the JCC for singing, dancing, and movement games set to fun music. And new for 2018: stay tuned for the upcoming Itsy Bitsy Junior class for parents and kids age newborn through 12 months.
Kidville – Mt. Kisco
Each Rockin’ Railroad class (newborn to 5 years) is led by two “conductors” (teachers) and a four-piece musical band. There is a wall of musical instruments and two designated areas: Instrumentville and Grandma’s House. Classes include movement songs, lap activities, group drumming, musical storytime, and much more. There's also a Rockin' Railroad: Unplugged for newborn to 12 months.

Kids can get hands-on with all kinds of instruments in Larchmont Music Academy's KinderMusik classes.
Larchmont Music Academy – Larchmont
Dance, explore instruments, and share songs and chants with your baby at weekly KinderMusik classes for kids ages 4 months to 6 years.
The Little Red – Dobbs Ferry
This learning center offers a host of classes, including Music 'n Play for babies through 4-year-olds. Twelve-week sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Music Conservatory of Westchester – White Plains
The First Notes classes for babies and toddlers start at 4 months here, and your kids will discover a passion for music through songs, sound exploration, rhythm, and movement in an upbeat environment.
Music School of Westchester – Larchmont
The KinderMusik Baby Music Classes at this school offer instrument play, dance, exploration time, musical concepts, together time, expert advice, and tools and inspiration for home.
Musical Munchkins – Multiple Locations
Musical Munchkins introduces babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to music through instrument play, song, and creative movement through their many classes held throughout Westchester. Live music accompanies most of the games and activities.
Mustard Seed Music Studio – Katonah
You’ll find three different classes designed to enhance your child's love of music: Babies Music Class for 12-14 months, Music Together for newborns through 5 years, and the Toddlers 2’s and 3’s class.
Pelham Music Arts Studio – Pelham
For students ages 3 months through 5 years, the studio offers various early learning programs, including KinderMusik and Musicgarten.
Rye YMCA – Rye
Rye offers several parent-and-child options. The Movin and Groovin Babies With Ellen Watermelon is a young-family favorite. Geared toward babies ages 9–24 months, the class features interactive songs, finger play, puppets, felt boards, parachutes, bubbles, and instruments. Ellen Watermelon also offers "Movin To the Beat" for ages 2–4 and a caregiver; and the Rock Your World Music Program with Armelle Gloaguen is geared toward ages 9 months to 4 years.
Parents and babies alike get down in Shake, Rattle & Roll classes.

The parent-and-child classes here place an emphasis on musical growth and development through singing, instruments, and dancing.
Songs for Seeds – Scarsdale
Emphasizing both fun and music/instrument appreciation, this 45-minute, interactive class encourages kids newborn to 6 years old to sing, dance, and play along with a live, three-piece band.
Sounds Good Westchester – Multiple Locations
Music Together classes are offered here for children from birth through kindergarten, in which parents and caregivers actively participate. Families receive their own songbook and CDs to enjoy at home and in the car when they aren’t in class.
Starlight Starbright Music – Scarsdale, Chappaqua, Tarrytown
A Mommy Poppins Bestie Award winner for favorite baby & me class, Starlight Starbright Music runs Music Together classes at its studio in Scarsdale, as well as at the Community Center in Chappaqua and the Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory in Tarrytown.
