Looking for the best things to do in Westchester and the Hudson Valley this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list.

This weekend kids can learn to make Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum and enjoy eating it with a variety of toppings afterward. Or they can paint a troll while enjoying the Trolls movie at Maker's Matinee: Trolls at Cornell Creative Arts Center.

Alternatively, head outdoors and Explore Native Animals at Muscoot Farm, which includes a hands-on experience with some of the farm's animals, or meet the Legendary Lizards at the Hudson Highlands Nature Center.
