It isn't always park or pool party weather, but kids in Westchester still can have a blast celebrating their birthday at indoor spots throughout the area. There's no shortage of places for Westchester kids to get their party on—whether the birthday boy or girl wants to jump on trampolines, scale a rock wall, do yoga, or race go-karts.

Sports and Games Party Venues Near Westchester

ROAMFurther Athletics — Mount Kisco

Celebrate with a high-energy, coach-led athletic experience, plus exclusive use of ROAM's unique training facility. Hit the racetrack with friends at Grand Prix New York.

Grand Prix New York—Mount Kisco

Perfect for kids, tweens and teens, this go-kart hot spot is available for racing parties—and additional activities, like arcade play or virtual reality. Packages include pizza and drinks, too. Or, you can go a different route with a ninja course party or a bowling party, both of which offer pizza, drinks, and other fun activities.

The Rock Club—New Rochelle

Climb to new heights—literally—with an indoor rock climbing party at The Rock Club at Pine Brook Fitness. Go with the Classic package, where you can score climbing time, with add-on options, like doing a black light climb. If you want to include pizza, opt for the Pizza Party package. 

Westchester Skating Academy — Elmsford

What says winter more than ice skating? The package at this mid-Westchester rink includes rentals, ice time, paper goods, pizza, juice, and time in the party room. Parties are at specified times, always on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Play Spaces and Trampoline Parks Near Westchester for Parties

Legoland Discovery Center — Yonkers

If your kid loves all things Lego, then a party at Legoland Discovery Center at Ridge Hill in Yonkers is a great choice. Along with a wristband that gives kids access to the center, the Single Room Birthday Package include the chance for kids to make their own Lego project, plus pizza, drinks, paper goods, and special items for the birthday kid. Guests can stay post-party for as long as they want, too. That package is for 20 kids, but you can upgrade to the Double Room Party Package if you’re having upwards of 40 friends. And don’t worry about having to find invites—you can print them out straight from the Legoland website.

Life the Place to Be — Ardsley

There’s a party theme for everyone at this event space, whether your child wants a laser tag bash or a “create a furry friend" party, among others. What’s great for parents: Lots is already included, like pizza, drinks, and time in the arcade.

The Play Place — Elmsford

This is as close to a playground as you can get without having to brave the cold. Pick from a few diffrent party packages, each that gives kids time on the Adventure Playground (think slides, climbing, and more) as well as their other sports options, plus dedicated hosts. Most parties run for 90 minutes and you can also add on a bounce house, if you'd like. The venue now also offers the option of a fully private party, so no one else will be using the facility when your party is there.

Sky Zone— Mount Kisco and Yonkers

Jump for joy for the birthday boy or girl at Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park. Parties are from one to two hours and include (of course!) jump time. There are different packages available, depending on which location you choose and your party size. For example, the largest package include pizza and drinks, plus gifts of water bottles and stickers for party goers. You can bring your own cake and outside food. (There's a fee to do this with the cheapest package.) 

Parties at Gymnastics, Dance, Yoga, and Circus Arts Venues

Studio B Dance Center — Eastchester

Even the youngest dancers can celebrate a birthday at this full-service dance studio in Eastchester, which hosts parties for kids starting at 2 years old. There are fun props, including hula hoops and bean bags, glow sticks, and more. Hoping to go the homemade route for food? Totally possible, as is ordering pizza.

Westchester Gymastics — Hawthorne

Gymnasts will love a party at this full-service studio in Hawthorne. Parties run for just under two hours and are great for kids as young as 2 years old. Along with tons of action in the gym—including obstacle courses and more—kids get 45 minutes in the party room. Print your own invites off its site, too.

Magical Movements — Harrison 

Choose from a wide range of themes and music—Frozen, Moana, pajama party, hip hop, party favorites, just to name a few—for your party at this dance studio in Harrison. Parties run from 1½ to two hours, and include full use of the studio, pizza and instructor, plus use of props, costumes and more.

Crafts, Beauty, Baking, and Sleepover Birthday Party Fun

Flowerbake by Angela — Bronxville

Budding bakers can choose from two party packages at Flowerbake Cafe—one for baking cupcakes and the other for baking cakes. Packages are for 12 kids (though you can go up to 20, for an extra fee) and include cake, pizza, paper goods, balloons, and a box for guests to bring home their goodies. 

D.I.Y. Slime — Larchmont 

Get your slime on at this fun venue, where kids can make their own slime, with styles ranging from mermaid slime to buried treasure slime. Parties are for up to 15 kids, and if your child is born from May to September, you can also opt for a backyard version of the party.

Get glamorous with a birthday party at the Glam Beauty Bar.

Glam Beauty Bar — Larchmont

Who doesn’t want to be pampered on their birthday? At Glam Beauty Bar in Larchmont, even preschoolers can get in on the fun. The Princess for a Day package is designed for ages 3 to 6 and includes dress-up, manicures, makeup, and curls. Ages 6 and older also get color hair extensions, plus the manicures and makeup. Teens and tweens can go all out with airbrush makeup, music, and a photo shoot. Parties are for groups of six to eight kids, and pizza, drinks and paper goods are included for all ages.

And a Birthday Party at a Grocery Store?

Stew Leonard's — Yonkers

Yes, this is a popular option. Packages are for 10 kids (although you can have as many as 25) and include all the classic must-haves such as face painting, games, ice cream, pizza, and cake. Choose a themed package—like Paw Patrol, Hot Wheels, or LOL Surprise—that includes a craft and invite to match your choice.
