Duck Duck Goose (Collingswood)
Unfortunately, this venue has relocated to Merchantville and refocused its business on selling toys.
Consider Duck Duck Goose a one-stop shop for playing, shopping, birthday parties and more! Kids love their playroom full of toys, games and puzzles that foster imaginative play. Parents can shop their wonderful selection of unique gifts, many of which are environmentally friendly. And everyone can benefit from their special events such as children’s clothing swaps, breastfeeding meetings and kid’s art activities. Open play is available regular business hours and is always free. 856-869-5453

Garden State Discovery Museum (Cherry Hill)
This wonderful children’s museum (a Mommy Poppins favorite!) encourages creativity and interactive play with multiple areas for little ones to explore. Visit the turtles, bearded dragons, tarantulas and other creatures in the Wildlife Area. Climb up a two-story tree house or play dress up in the Storybook Castle. The Little Discoveries Barnyard even provides a safe play area for the museum’s youngest visitors. Admission is $10.95 for adults and children 1 year and up. 856-424-1233

International Sports, Skating & Fun Centre (Cherry Hill)
At this family fun center, kids can roller skate during open sessions throughout the week, as well as on special “Family Fun Nights.” The Fun Zone, featuring an indoor jungle gym and bounce house, is especially popular with children 10 and under. Numerous sports leagues offer classes at the Centre and it’s a favorite location for birthday parties too. Check the online schedule for roller skating and open play session times. Pricing is $7 for one attraction, $10 for two attractions. Skate rentals are additional. 856-428-8588

Jump Zone (Sicklerville)
Unfortunately, this venue has closed.
Jump Zone is a huge indoor play area featuring seven massive inflatables such as a pirate ship, princess castle, obstacle course and more! There’s a designated Toddler Play Area just for little ones so no need to leave younger siblings at home. Open play is offered during several sessions scheduled weekly on Wednesdays through Sundays. Price is $10 per child; adults and children under age 2 are free when accompanying a paid child. Reservations are suggested. 856-481-3067

Legacy Lanes (Bridgeton)
Bowling is one of my family’s favorite indoor activities. It’s low-key, lots of fun and super affordable. Legacy Lanes offers weekday afternoon bowling for only $2.99 per game so you’ll have money left over for drinks and snacks too. Their extensive menu features kid favorites such as pizza, chicken fingers and French fries. Weekday rates are $2.99 per game from 12-5pm, $3.99 from 5pm-close. Shoe rentals are an additional $2.75. 856-221-3269.

Skate 2000 Family Fun Center (Bridgeton)
Head to Skate 2000 with the family for some old-school roller skating fun! The rink is open to the public Thursday through Sunday and offers amazing specials. Admission is just $4 on Thursday’s “Family Discount Night” and Friday is “All You Can Eat Pizza Night” with $9 admission fee. Children can sign up for beginner skating lessons on Saturday mornings too—for just $8 per week they’ll learn forward skating, backward skating and lots of cool tricks. 856-459-3666
