Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this weekend? Here are some great family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

Hard to believe, South Florida families, but the holiday season is fast approaching. This weekend, families in Miami and nearby can have their first breakfast with Santa, and holiday lights shows show off in Coconut Creek and Miami. Santa's Enchanted Forest opens on Thursday in Miami and Christmas concerts begin at The Moss Center.

If you're not ready for the holiday season just yet, why not take in a few of the other great things happening in our area this weekend, including the Camelot Days Medieval Festival in Hollywood, the Museum of Science and Discovery's Healthy You weekend, and the Nocturnal Wonders Night Hike in Fort Lauderdale.

As always, if you have an event you think we should check out, feel free to e-mail us. Don't forget to bookmark this page and share with a friend.
