Families who head to the Life is good Festival on Saturday and Sunday (9/24-9/25) can enjoy great music for kids and adults, an array of games and activities, diverse local food, and hands-on art projects. Performers include nationally known musical talent and popular children’s performers.
The festival aims to raise $1 million to benefit the Life is Good Playmakers, the action arm of the Life is good Kids Foundation, whose mission is to help children overcome life-threatening challenges, including violence, illness and extreme poverty.

Up Close with Laurie Berkner
“When did you learn to play the guitar?” “Where do the ideas for your songs come from?” “What’s your favorite song?” Curious children have the chance to ask Laurie Berkner these and other great questions during a Q&A session on Sunday at 11:30am with the children’s music superstar and Nick Jr. channel favorite. The session is first-come, first-served, so plan to arrive early if your kids want to take advantage of this special opportunity. And everyone can watch Laurie perform on Saturday and Sunday at 2:15pm.
