Visitors will be able to pet and feed stingrays in this interactive exhibit.
Set to make its big debut in the Spring of 2020, Houston Aquarium & Animal Adventure will open on Beltway 8 just south of Humble in northeast Houston. Guests will be able to get up close and personal with all different types of animals in a more intimate setting than the typical zoo allows. Kids get hands-on with both aquatic and land animals through feeding and meet-and-greets, explore aviaries, and snap photos of different birds that may even fly over and land on your shoulder.

That's not all the venue offers, though. Other attractions include an inflatable play area that can also be reserved for birthday parties, obstacle courses, a zipline through the trees, a ropes course, and even mermaids who swim through the water and also tell tales.
Touted as being the first center like this of its kind in the United States in terms of animal interactions, Houston Aquarium & Animal Adventure promises to offer a little bit of everything for visitors. It's going to be equal parts fun and educational and appeal to kids of all ages.
