Free Indoor Playgrounds for Kids in Orlando to Have Fun
It's no surprise that Orlando has an abundance of indoor playground spots and indoor entertainment centers for families, but these can get pricey, especially if you have more than one child. Luckily, Orlando also has FREE indoor playground areas that allow kids to let loose and explore at no cost. From soft indoor playground spots at the mall, to a dino dig and real train car to explore, you're sure to find something for kids of all ages to enjoy. And who doesn't love FREE entertainment?!

Free Indoor Playground Spots in Orlando: Malls
Altamonte Mall Children’s Play Area — Altamonte Springs
On the lower level of the Altamonte Mall is an enclosed indoor playground, geared toward babies and toddlers, with climbing structures, tunnels, and small slides.
The Play Park at Florida Mall offers 3,000 square feet of indoor playground fun.
Florida Mall Play Park — Orlando
The Play Park is a 3,000-square-foot, nature-themed indoor playground inspired by Dr. Seuss and Alice in Wonderland. This interactive play area includes a story tunnel, piano patio, wind tube, digital pond, pixel wall, and much more. Plus, located right next to the play park is Crayola Experience Orlando.
Lake Square Mall – Leesburg
The Lake Square Mall has a free indoor play area located by Belk.
Oviedo Mall – Oviedo
The Oviedo Mall has a free playground located in the food court; it is ideal for kids ages 4 and under. Sign your kids up for the mall's FREE Kid Crew program (ages 3-12) as well to participate in fun monthly events.
Seminole Towne Center Kidgits Play Area — Sanford
The Seminole Towne Center's enclosed play area is geared toward little ones and features small slides, climbing equipment, and baby play areas, as well as seating for parents. Bring quarters to ride one of the kiddie rides located outside of the play area or in the food court.

The BreakRoom — Winter Garden
The BreakRoom is a coffee spot and community space that houses a play area for kids to explore while parents chat and enjoy their cup of joe.
Chick-fil-A — Multiple Locations
Several Chick-fil-A locations offer indoor playgrounds for kids to expel some energy after their meal. This varies by location as each restaurant is individually owned and operated.
Disney Springs – Lake Buena Vista
You can have a fun day at Disney Springs without spending a dime. Free indoor fun includes build stations at the Lego Store, meet-and-greets and photo ops with the Coca-Cola polar bear, and fossil digs at T-Rex restaurant.
McDonald’s – Multiple Locations
Several McDonald’s locations around Central Florida offer indoor play areas. Search for your nearest location and apply the filter for indoor play area. And don't forget about the "World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's," which houses a huge play area, jungle gym, and arcade.

Central Florida Railroad Museum – Winter Garden
This FREE museum is ideal for little train enthusiasts. Kids will enjoy climbing in and exploring a real caboose, checking out the HO scale train layout, and playing with a Thomas wooden train set.
