Consider indoor batting cages with the summer heat in full swing (get it?!). Softball and baseball lovers and batting newbies alike will enjoy these awesome Orlando batting cages to cool off and hone their skills. Indoor batting cages are great ways for Orlando kids and teens to touch base with friends, parents, and even siblings! Fun Indoor Batting Cages in Orlando

1. Allstars Sportsplex - Altamonte Springs

This 22,000-square-foot facility boasts indoor batting cages (Iron Mike and Hack Attack), pitching mounds, L-screens, and heavy tee stations. Allstars Sportsplex also hosts events throughout the year, afterschool programs, and summer camps. Open Saturday and Sunday by appointment. $10 for 15 minutes; $20 for 30; and $35 for 60.

2. The Clubhouse - Brooksville

The Clubhouse is a full-service, indoor baseball and softball facility. Rent indoor batting cages at $25 for 30 minutes; bull pens at $40 for 30 minutes; and Hittrax catching for 1 hour. Lessons offered for catching, hitting, fielding, and strength training. Birthday parties available. Open everyday except Sunday.

3. D-Bat - Lake Mary

D-Bat offers nearly 17,000 square feet, with 11 batting cages accommodating softball (slow-pitch and fast-pitch; 40, 50, and 60 mph) and baseball (40, 50, 60, and 70 mph). Cage rentals offered in 30-minute increments. Membership allows reduced cost for cage rentals. D-Bat offers clinics, camps, lessons, and birthday party rentals.

4. Double Play Cages - Clermont

This facility is great for those comfortable in an athletic space. Batting and pitching space rentals start at $35 for 30 minutes. Hack Attack rentals available for young people ages 12 and older —those machines cost $65 for 30 minutes and $75 for 60 minutes. Memberships and lessons available. Open seven days a week.

5. Lebron's Indoor Batting Cages - Orlando

Lebron's is friendly for children 4 years and older. In addition to pitching machines, there is a bull pen and infield area. Group training and private lessons available. Bring your own equipment or use what's included with cage rental. $14 for 75 pitches (5 tokens); $24 for 150 pitches (10 tokens); and $40 for 300 pitches (20 tokens).

6. Marucci Hitter's House - Casselberry

Marucci Hitter's House features indoor cages available for public rental, catering to folks who know their way around an athletic facility. This indoor sports complex requires visitors to create an online account in order to reserve cages and equipment. Open seven days a week. Better for serious athletes.

7. Oviedo Strike Zone - Oviedo

Oviedo Strike Zone accommodates baseball and softball practice with the Hack Attack machine (ranging from 30 mph to 100 mph). Cage rental is $40 per hour, and this facility also offers indoor training for pickleball and soccer. Clinics, camps, and birthday parties. Open seven days a week.

8. The Upper Deck - Melbourne

The Upper Deck facility is all about the customized experience. Individual cage rentals, team practices, and venue rentals (birthday parties) are all available, in addition to camps, clinics, and pro instruction. Upper Deck can modify its layout for optimal flexibility. All reservations must be completed online or by phone. 

9. Volusia Sports Center - Ormond Beach

Located in Ormond Beach, Volusia Sports Center offers JUGS, ATEC, and Hack Attack machines as well as pitching mounds. Non-member pricing is $29 for 30 minutes and $49 for 60. Outdoor turf available by reservation. Check about summer specials.
