We love the award-winning professional community theater, Hudson Theater Ensemble because of its “neighborhood” feel; most of the performers live in the area and many of them are teachers at the various schools in Hudson county. “The Toymaker’s Apprentice” is a musical, following the tale of a Toymaker who is hiring a new helper.  Many apply, but two finalists emerge: Patty, the selfish daughter of the President of Corporate Corp., Incorporated and sweet-natured, hard-working Katie, the daughter of a carpenter. Who will be the next Apprentice? The one who makes the best toy or the one with the best singing voice?
