Weekly Wrap Up: Spring Fairs and Fests, Indoor Water Parks and More for NYC Kids
We are so ready for the weekend. That's when we can start doing all of the cool things we wrote about on our sites this week!
We're already spoken for on Saturday: The Mommy Poppins gang will be hanging out at the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair. Drop by our tent for fun activities and awesome giveaways.
Sunday brings more seasonal fun, including festivals and fairs, Bike Month festivities and a slew of other family-friendly events.

New York City
In honor of family music conference Kindiefest, which climaxes with a cool concert this Sunday, we profiled our five favorite NYC kids' bands.
Apparently some parks briefly ran their sprinklers earlier this week. But if you really want to get wet, plan a day trip to one of four nearby indoor water parks.
We explored two off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods. First we hit Roosevelt Island, then we took an art-filled tour of the South Bronx, courtesy of the Bronx Culture Trolley.
We also found out what's new at the city's zoos.
Fair and festival season is in full swing. This weekend hit annual favorites like the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Cherry Blossom Festival, the Hippo Playground Fair and the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair, where Mommy Poppins will be giving away Universal Orlando tickets.
Of course those events, as well as lots of others including Bike Month NYC activities, are included in our roundup of the weekend's best bets for families.
