While the Caldwell, Madison, and Montclair theaters offer a private party area you can book for an hour pre- or post-party, all locations allow you to rent a theater for a private screening of a new release or film of your choice. Cinemark – Hazlet
Pamper your birthday babe and guests at this posh theater, known for its luxurious leather reclining seats. There’s a private party room for an hour-long celebration before or after the movie, and tickets include a Movie Snack Pack of popcorn, drink, and snack-sized candy. You can also book a private screening for at least 20 guests and receive an additional hour of theater time for cake and gifts.

Dunellen Cinema Cafe – Dunellen
Party guests will be treated like VIPs at this Central NJ theater. Your birthday starlet can celebrate with his or her name on the marquee and enjoy full access to a private party room for cake. Guests will receive reserved seats, as well as pizza, popcorn, and soda. Private screenings are also available.

Kerasotes Showplace – Secaucus
Make your movie-loving birthday kid’s dreams a reality at this mega multiplex. A party coordinator will assist with escorting guests to reserved seats, facilitating snack and drink orders, and cleaning up after the party. A private party room is available for one hour before or after the movie for gifts and cake. Each ticket includes popcorn, drinks or an ICEE, plus free refills of everything.

Perfect for large groups, this family-owned and -operated theater can accommodate up to 114 guests (kids plus adults). With the birthday kid’s name on the marquee, affordable party packages include a private screening of a first-run feature or your own DVD/Blu-Ray. You can opt for a morning matinee or after-school screening. Each kid will receive a combo pack of popcorn, bottled water, fruit snacks, and candy.
