Good Life Clubhaus: Exploring the Café Area
At the front of Good Life Clubhaus Juice Bar & Play Café, you'll find a wrap-around bar and a mix of seating options. The menu includes juices, smoothies, coffee drinks, and simple brunch-style food. The Green Lovers juice (apple, carrot, cucumber, lemon, ginger, spinach, kale) was fresh, and the Strawberry Banana smoothie was a hit with my kids.

Food options range from grilled cheese with brie and fig jam to cauliflower bites with sweet chili sauce. There’s also a kid-sized menu with smaller portions and baby-friendly snacks. Dessert options like funnel cake fries are available, along with a nitro cold brew if you’re looking for caffeine.
Seating and Lounge Area at Good Life Clubhaus
Next to the café is a lounge-style space with comfortable chairs, a few Instagram-style photo spots, and a swing bench. It’s a quieter area that can work for adults who want to relax, chat, or even catch up on work—there’s free WiFi.
The space is also popular with older kids and teens, especially after school, who come by for smoothies and a place to hang out.
Good Life Clubhaus' Play Area
The indoor play zone is behind a latched gate and is socks-only. It includes a ball pit, climbing structures, sensory floor tiles, and a small netted clubhouse with a corkscrew slide. There’s also a designated area for infants and toddlers (9 months to 2 years), with age-appropriate toys and soft play equipment.
Unlike a typical indoor playground, the design is more curated and low-key, with an emphasis on open-ended, screen-free play.
Memberships are available, and the space hosts regular classes like dance, art, and music. Information is available on their website.
Chilling on the Outdoor Patio
Good Life Clubhaus transformed its rear parking lot entrance into an outdoor hangout with a fenced-in area. Faux shrubs and greenery adorn the perimeter, while plush seating and even funky, fabric umbrellas.
This is a great space to kick back and catch some vitamin D.
What to Know About Reservations and Drop-Ins at Good Life Clubhaus
Walk-ins to the play space are welcome on weekdays, but reservations are required on weekends. Save time by signing the mandatory waiver online. The area is also staffed with supervision on weekends, giving mom and dad a well-deserved java break at the cafe. Kids over age 4 can use the space independently, with a parent nearby in the cafe.
This space is available to rent for private events or birthday parties. They handle all of the stress and mess of the party, so all you have to do is show up and celebrate. The full bar also caters to adults-only evening events. Our friends' baseball team held their holiday party here for parents only, and they were blown away by the use of the space.
Getting to Good Life Clubhaus
The play cafe is located at 151 Merrick Ave. in Merrick, just south of the Southern State Parkway's 24S exit. A few blocks south is also the LIRR's Merrick station, which is within walking distance. There's ample parking in the lot to the rear of the play cafe.
