Mother's Day Freebies on Long Island
While moms should be honored every day, they all deserve to be extra spoiled on Mother's Day. Some even extend the courtesy all weekend, from Saturday, May 11 to Sunday, May 12.

Take in more than 2,000 pieces of art at this popular museum, where mom will enjoy FREE admission. Check out the museum's popular exhibition, Long Island's Best: Young Artists, which highlights local students' artwork.
Long Island Museum — Stony Brook
The museum pays tribute to moms by offering FREE admission to all mothers and grandmothers. A leisurely stroll through the beautiful grounds and galleries is a perfect way to spend the day. Don't forget to scope out the magnificent crocheted tree.
White Post Farms — Melville
Moms receive FREE admission when accompanied by a paying child to White Post Farms. Goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas are available to feed. Don't miss favorites such as the Singing Chicken Show, Animal Jamboree Band, and the old-fashioned train ride.
East End
Garden of Eve Organic Farm & Market — Riverhead
Moms receive a FREE plant from May 6 to 12. Visit the outdoor fun play area for pedal karts, a playground, interaction with baby animals, and more.
Harbes Barnyard Adventure — Mattituck
