Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes in Litchfield County, CT

We love to make an outing in the Fall to find a few perfect pumpkins to bring home for carving. With so many beautiful farms in Litchfield County it's not hard to find a patch for picking. Angevine Farm - Open every weekend from 10-5 until Halloween. While there go ahead and tag your Christmas tree for this year. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Bunnell Farm - This 5th generation family owned farm is set in scenic Milton, an enclave of Litchfield. Take a horse-drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch! They also have a flashlight corn maze - check back for dates. Thinking ahead, you can order a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving while there. The maze will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30-5:30pm (and they even have a hay maze for the littlest ones).

Ellsworth Farm - Pick pumpkins in their patch every day from 9-6pm. They have a corn maze and hay rides on the weekends too that will be open through November. Go inside for some delicious apple cider and yummy baked apple goodies.

March Farm -  Open every day from 10am - 6pm.  The hilltop corn maze, pony rides and hayrides are open on Saturday and Sundays. During the weekdays there is a small corn maze for little ones and on the weekends a more elaborate corn maze for those with a good sense of direction.

Harris Hill Farm - Enjoy the kiddie hay maze and hay rides in this scenic pumpkin patch. Open 10am - 5pm Saturdays and Sundays in October.

Ruwett Farm - Get a free tractor ride with a purchase of a pumpkin at this family farm in Torrington. There is a picnic area and they are open Fridays thru Sundays Oct. 1 - 31st.
