Nomads Outdoor Ropes Course - South Windsor

Nomads is a guaranteed good time for your kids. Open 7 days a week, this outdoor ropes course has 7 ropes trails to follow on multiple levels of intensity. The courses are built in the trees and kids can travel from platform to platform, pausing when they need to.

Empower Leadership and Sports Adventure Center - Middletown

Empower offers a tree canopy zip line tour high in the trees. There are 5 different zip line trails to choose from. Kids can spend up to two hours hanging out in the trees. Several packages are available in which you can experience their elaborate ropes, bridges, and harnessed zip lines. No children weighing less than 60 pounds can participate. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Adventure Park at Storrs - Storrs
Platforms are secured in the treetops along with ropes and ziplines. Seven trails are available with tons of different zipline options on multiple levels of difficulty. You can choose tickets for two or three hours. To climb in the park you need to be at least 7 years old. Minors must be supervised by an adult.

The Adventure Park at the Discovery Center - Bridgeport
Located in Southern Connecticut, this is a tree-top adventure park with 11 trails. Before hitting the trails, everyone receives a thorough training. They also have a feature called Monkey Grove, good place for families to climb together. Guides are on-site to provide assistance to climbers. Multiple levels of climbing experiences are available and are labeled similar to a ski slope (from purple to double black).

Fields of Fire Adventure Park - Mystic
A smaller climbing park with only 5 trails, this fun place is set on 50 heavily wooded acres. Yellow and green courses are for kids or beginners. Climbers must be at least 7 years old and 60 pounds. There are tons of bridges, ziplines, and treetop stops. They are open at night and have an awesome fire-pit to hang out at. They even have a Gagaball pit!

Brownstone Exploration and Discovery Park - Portland

This place has everything for outdoor fun - ziplines and rock climbing included. For older kids. Your teens can zipline into and over the water. There are 14 ziplines to choose from. Enjoy many other activities such as: wakeboarding, rope swing, kayak, scuba diving, hiking and biking, and jumping off their cliffs into the water below.
