Looking for the best things to do in Connecticut this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities in the area to add to your list. 

Hopefully parents are all dug out of the FEET of snow that was just dumped on Connecticut by the time this weekend rolls around! After the kids are done playing outside, make plans to visit one of the fun activities going on this weekend. I am already starting to get in the mood for Valentines. If you are like me, meet me at the Valentines Trinket Dishes at Bristol Bazaar to make two cute dishes with beads and charms. If you missed seeing Ice Mosaics in Hartford, you can catch Ice Mosaics at Mystic KOA this weekend where you will see beautiful ice carvings lit up like art. This weekend, bring your kids to see Fantasia at the Palace Theater in Stamford and give them the opportunity to see this classic movie which will be shown with live orchestration.

Some really special events were postponed to this weekend like the Fire and Ice Family Fest in Litchfield and the Family Day at Yale Art Gallery in New Haven, so you haven't lost your opportunity to enjoy these!
