Fall is here, which means it’s time for pumpkins! There are many pumpkin patches all around Central Florida to find the perfect pumpkin to carve or paint, and we've rounded up our favorites. 

These Orlando pumpkin patches serve as great backdrops for fall family photos, and several of them also offer activities such as pony rides, petting zoos, playgrounds and more for kids to enjoy. There is even a patch you can visit to pick your own pumpkin straight from the vine!

Orlando Pumpkin Patches to Visit this Season

Pumpkin Ponderosa at Showcase of Citrus — Clermont

Open daily September 18 – November 28 from 9am-7pm Free admission
This fall event includes a pumpkin patch, outdoor games, pumpkin painting (weekends only), and hayrides. Guests can also enjoy the famous monster truck tour through the ranch, farm animals, playgrounds, catch-and-release fishing, and gem mining. A Halloween Party will also take place on October 30.

Get some fall treats along with pumpkins at Santa's Farm. 

Santa’s Farm — Eustis

Open weekends in 2021 from the last weekend of September through Halloween, as well as most Fridays. 
A Lot of Pumpkins at Santa’s Farm offers a large shaded pumpkin patch, as well as activities such as a magical monster maze, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, and barrel train rides.  Guests can also visit with the animals at Jack’s Barnyard. New this year: race rubber duckies and dig for real shark teeth at Shark Tooth Beach. Onsite dining is available—the famous fresh-popped kettle corn is a must!

Southern Hill Farms — Clermont

2021 Fall Festival begins September 25. More details coming soon.
Fall at Southern Hill Farms boasts a pumpkin patch barn with a wide variety of pumpkins, as well as corn stalks and gourds. Other activities include farm wagon rides, sunflower and zinnia u-pick, petting zoo, covered playground, yard games, touch-a-tractor, giant fun slide, cyclone swing, jump pillows, and more.

East Lake Pumpkin Patch — Sorrento

Pumpkins arrivw September 25 and patch will be open daily through October 31 (or until pumpkins are sold out). Hours are 11am-7pm.
This annual pumpkin patch is hosted by the East Lake Chamber of Commerce. It offers a wide variety of pumpkins in a shaded lot with several spots for photos.

Community Presbyterian Church Pumpkin Patch — Celebration

Open daily from September 27-October 31. Hours are 10am-6pm, weather permitting.
Visit this pumpkin patch in the charming town of Celebration near Disney. In addition to pumpkins, the patch will host special events like storytimes and serve food such as homemade goodies, pumpkin lattes, apple cider, and more.

Long & Scott Farms — Mount Dora

Scott's Maze Adventures is open weekends October 1-December 12.
Long & Scott Farms is known for its famous corn maze, but the farm also offers a country market filled with pumpkins in the fall. Kids will love the other farm activities including a giant wooden playground, bounce pillow, 60-foot super slide, tree maze, zipline, fishing, and more. The pumpkin patch and market are free to visit, however the corn maze and other activities require an admission fee. Due to the pandemic, guests are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online.

The Pickin' Patch — Dunnellon

Open Fridays through Sundays from October 1-24. Online ticket options are available.
About an hour and a half northwest of Orlando lies Florida's genuine pick-out-of-the-field pumpkin patch. Bring your own clippers and wagon, and traverse the 20-acre farm to pick the perfect pumpkin right off the vine. The whole family can also enjoy a corn maze, hay fort with slides, hay maze, live music, and sunflower picking.

Get a tiny or huge pumpkin at Club Lake Plantation Pumpkin Patch. 

Club Lake Plantation Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival - Apopka

Open Thursdays-Sundays from October 2-31. Hours are 12pm-6pm Thursdays & Fridays, and 10am-6pm Saturdays & Sundays. 
Club Lake Plantation offers a picturesque shaded pumpkin patch with a wide variety of pumpkins in all sizes, as well as lots of photo ops. While visiting, guests can also enjoy the corn maze, playground structures, kids hay maze and play area, and more. Hayrides are available on the weekends as well. There is no cost to visit the pumpkin patch, however there is an admission fee for the other activities.

FUMC Oviedo Pumpkin Patch — Oviedo

Open October 2-31 from 10:30am-8pm. 
First United Methodist Church of Oviedo hosts an annual pumpkin patch, with proceeds benefiting the Youth Ministries of First Church Oviedo and the Navajo Indian Mission. 


Picking a pumpkin is just part of the fun at Painted Oaks Academy. 

Painted Oaks Academy Pumpkins and Ponies — Orlando

Open daily October 2-31. Guests must purchase tickets online in advance. Masks are required in crowded areas.
Bring the kids to pick out at pumpkin at Painted Oaks Academy, where they can also enjoy a corn maze, pony rides, hayrides, and train rides. Food will be available for purchase as well.

Renninger's Fall in the Field — Mount Dora

Open October 2-3 from 9am-5pm.  
The annual Fall in the Field event at Renninger's Twin Markets includes a pumpkin patch full of heirloom pumpkins fresh from Ohio. This weekend event also includes music, food, make-and-take crafts, and mini pumpkin decorating for kids.

Sunsational Farms Fall Festival — Umatilla

Open Saturdays from October 2-23 from 11am-3pm. No admission fee to enter, but games and activities are ticketed.
The Fall Festival at Sunsational Farms includes a pumpkin patch with u-pick mini pumpkins. Additional activities include carnival games, bee train, and face painting. A food truck and farm store are also onsite.

Central Parkway Baptist Church — Orlando

Open daily October 9-31 with various hours. A trunk or treat will take place on Halloween from 6-8pm.
Located near the attractions, this pumpkin patch is open daily to the public. Bring the kids to pick out a carving pumpkin and snap some memorable photos.

The PumpKIND Patch — Sanford

Open October 9-31 and hours are Wednesday-Friday from 5pm-7pm, and Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7pm. 
A large field of pumpkins are available to choose from at this pumpkin patch in Sanford. Special events will also be offered throughout the season, including craft days and a costume party.

College Park United Methodist Church — Orlando

Open October 17-31.
This annual outdoor pumpkin patch in College Park is open daily and offers a variety of pumpkins. Pick your perfect pumpkin or just drop by for fall family photos.

Trinity Christian Academy Pumpkin Patch — Orlando

Open October 17-31. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 12pm-7pm and Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm. 
Pick a pumpkin from the patch, with proceeds directly benefiting TCA. There will be photo opportunities, bounce house, and baked goods.
