The Pratt Nature Center - Have a party in a yurt!  Set on 200+ acres in New Milford, The Pratt Nature Center puts nature on beautiful display, inviting you discover and have an adventure.  All birthday parties include a tailor made, 45 minute educational program for your group, you just add cake, decorations and the attendees!  The yurt is available year round, and can be booked as soon as two weeks from your event date.

Village Center for the Arts - Have an awesome "arty party"!  Choose from a lesson from a professional artist, anything from ceramics, to wood crafts, to a tye dye party or splatter painting, they can adapt any art project into a fun, fabulous party.  All parties last 2 hours and include all paper goods, balloons, a gift certificate and a special present opening game.  Face painting and other extras are available for an additional fee.

March Farm - Have your party picnic pondside, or under the pavilion of the Hayloft Playscape, March Farms can accomodate any party size, from 10 to 60+ guests.  Wander the animal yard, hike the farm trails, hop on a hay ride or run through the seasonal sunflower or corn mazes.  Rental facilities are available June through October.

White Memorial Conservation Center - For the kid who is all about animals, White Memorial Conservation Center offers parties about owls, aquatic life, birds, turtles, snakes and more!  Each party includes a 45 minute presentation by center staff, admission to the nature museum, and there's an optional indoor museum scavenger hunt, too!  Parents provide food and decorations, and discounts apply to WMCC members.

KidsPlay Museum - Located in the heart of downtown Torrington, KidsPlay Museum is a new-ish children's museum with hands on exhibits that promote learning through hands-on and multi-sensory activities.  In other words, kids can run, flip switches, push buttons, watch things rush down ramps, play music, and build until their little hearts are content!  Birthdays are all of that, and more!  Party in their large birthday party room, then head into the museum for play time!

Sky Top Lanes - Who doesn't love a bowling party?  Birthday parties at Sky Top lanes in Torrington include 90 minutes of unlimited bowling, then party it up!  Party slots last 2 hours and are appropriate for kiddos ages 4 and up.

Snip Its - Technically, they're slightly west of Litchfield County, but what a cool spot for a birthday party!  Snip-its is a chain of kid-centric hair salons, and they pull out all the stops for amazing  birthday parties.  Try some karaoke at a Rock Star Party, or put your feet up for pampering during a Spa Party, there's a theme to suit any birthday kiddo!

Grandview Farms - Plan a Giddy Up and Go Party at Grandview Farms, where all the attendees get tips and instruction to start learning to ride.  The farm supplies the horse/pony, the directions and supervision for grooming and rides, plus crafts for kids waiting their turn to ride.  Just add cake and decorations!  Pony rides are suggested for kids ages 3-6, horses for 6 and up.

Flanders Nature Center - An institution in Woodbury, CT, they offer out of the ordinary nature, art or farm themed birthday parties for kids, in all seasons!  If you're little farmer is a fan of John Deere tractors, they can hook up the hay wagon to the big green machine, too!  Discounts are available for members of the nature center, and hosts must provide a cake, snacks, drinks and some paper products.

Bank Street Theatre - Annnnnd, ACTION!  Why not rent a theatre for your next birthday party?  Bank Street Theatre offers three different packages, private rentals, public showtime or, why not bring your child's favorite film and see it up on the big screen!  All guests get a small popcorn, drink, and movie tickets.
